Ingleside Police Station has issued a (slightly belated) warning to the Sunnyside neighbors of City College. Two incidences of sexual battery have occurred in the last month or so (November 26 and December 2) on the pedestrian bridge near Geneva and Ocean Avenues. Both attacks happened at around 6 p.m., smack dab in the middle of commute hours. There was also a December 8th attack that may or may not be related. It occurred at Ocean Avenue and Lee Street.
The perpetrator groped the victims and walked away. He has been described as a Latin male, 18 to 30 years old, standing 5'9" to 5'10 tall, weighing about 170 pounds, short spiky black hair, no facial hair, square facial features. The suspect wore a white jacket and an iPod in the first attack. He wore a orange shirt beneath an orange jacket, a gold necklace and a backpack in the second attack.
Despite dispatching decoys to the area in the last week, the police have been unable to lure the perpetrator. Please keep an eye out, ladies and gents. Call 911 if you see anything suspicious. Inspector Rod Nakanishi is assigned to the case and can be contacted directly at the Sexual Assault Detail at 415-553-1361.

I love that City College has an "escort service."
Decoys? Like busty co-eds made out of cork and painted in life-like detail?
Tee hee.
Why can't this happen to me? Giving this guy a serious beatdown would help me release so much pent-up anger and frustration.
I was groped once. It was on the #71. I was getting off at Divisadero when some old creep reached between my legs and grabbed my manly man parts. I glared at him as I got off the bus. The full weight of what had occurred didn't hit me until I was out on the street and unable to re-board for purposes of beating the old creep about the head a bit. I was traumatized by the incident for at least an hour and a half.
