In no particular order, awesome stuff to do on New Year's Eve.

Booty Call Wednesdays: Juanita More! takes her weekly Castro bash to a whole other level when she puts on a New Year's Eve party that will have you jumping out of your underwear. Literally. On the decks: Initials P.B., Joshua J & Juanita MORE; drag-ish performance by Hoku Mama Swamp; art installation by Downey; and much more.

8:30 p.m. - 2 a.m.// Bar on Castro (456 Castro Street) // $10

SHINY DISCO BALLS: "Come see all the shiny disco balls!," promises the press release. Oh my. Also promised? Balloon drop, champagne toast, yummy bites, and DJ Ean Golden.

9 p.m. - 4 a.m. // Harlot (45 Minna) // $50

Mission Beach Cafe Dinner: Chef Tom Martinez will whip up a divine 5-course menu that includes vegan/vegetarian options (if you must), a champagne toast, and incredible plated desserts from Pastry Chef Alan Carter.

6 p.m. - midnight // Mission Beach Cafe (198 Guerrero) // $65 per person.

Love Unlimited: Nine hours of unbridled disco-mania hosted by Bus Station John. Need we say more? OK, fine. BSJ plays two sets, Juanita More! spins at 3 a.m., Honey Soundsystem crew drops by, breakfast starts at 4 a.m., dancing until dawn, gay-straight crowd, and more. Much more.

9 p.m. // Paradise Lounge (1501 Folsom) // $15-25

Butthole Surfers: Potty-mouthed alt-rock band performs for the thirtysomething set.

9 p.m. // The Fillmore (1805 Geary) // $55

BART/MUNI: Bay Area Rapid Transit has a special $6 "all you can ride " pass you can buy in advance (great deal) and MUNI is running free that night too.
