From what I've heard the Taraval Capt. is doing a rather good job. I'll need to see something solid rather than just the anecdotes and conjecture, but it might be a good idea.

Gavin Newsom's little politically correct/ affirmative action appointments do nothing but make all women look incompetent. Thanks, Gav. Just like Bush, the brown people and the women (Gonzo, Powell, Rice) look the worst every time while the Fagans, Rumsfelds, et al shine on in the history books. That said, it does bear awarding that Fong is also the first Asian-American Police Chief failure in the country. Born on third base but thinks she hit a double.

According to inside sources they are replacing Fong with a Muppet. We're not sure yet if it is Grover, Fozzie Bear or even Gonzo - but one thing is for sure, which ever Muppet is anointed will do a more competent job at managing the SFPD and protecting the city. Maybe now Heather can bulk up to a burly 80lbs and fight some crime or sell bananas on Stockton. Note to my fellow San Franciscans: In any other city in the country, this woman would not qualify to be a security guard at a Wal-Mart - let alone Chief of Police in a major city. Seriously. Think about it.
