Berkeley Suicide Leads to Grim Discovery

suicidebodyremainsberkeley.jpg

Berkeley resident 60-year-old Hassan Bin Ali shot and killed himself on Monday night, leading to the discovery of an entombed body inside his Ashby Avenue residence. After police officers responded to a report of a heated argument going down at Ali's apartment -- and after his sudden suicide, which happened right in front of the cops at the scene -- remains of an unidentified body were found last night during a search. The macabre discovery is, of course, "being treated as suspicious."

Entombed. Strange way to describe it. So it was in the wall or encased in something? If so, how did the cops find it so easily?

"Entombed" is such a cool word, and a perfect reason to celebrate with a media cluster f***. On the TV news this morning, I think every 5th word out of every reporter's mouth was "entombed".

"Entombed"

"Entombed"

It even looks cool in print.

I was coming here to ask the exact same thing as @martooni.

I want to know entombedetails.

that's why I showed up here as well, sfgate was disappointingly light on details.
