Hm. As December reaches its halfway point, top-notch evening revelry runs dry until New Year's Eve. It's a brutal time for Calendar Editors.
Let's see what's going on tonight: I Am Jesus Christ, some sort of anti-Capitalist musical comedy film, is going on at The Dark Room; Quincy Jones speaks at the Herbst Theater, which, unless he talks about his friendship with Oprah, sounds aggressively boring; there's some sort of writing lesson going on at the Kearny Street Workshop; and a bunch of homosexuals will sing gay Christmas carols at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.
Alas, none of this seems terribly titillating.
This is where you come in. Readers, if you know of something stupendous going on this evening, let us know in the comments. And if you want to know about something stupendous, the comments are probably where it's at today.

Quincy has been involved in so many major pop cultural moments since the 60s its not even funny.
He probably has stories for days.
Sneak into one of the many company Christmas parties. If asked, you were invited by "John." Hang out near the open bar. Make sure to talk to a lot of people. Don't hog the canapes.
fantastic advice, angrybat. i did that the other night to much success.
I just bought the biggest bag of mushrooms that you can ever imagine from Krivaar on Pine Street...
