I agree that Guantanamo (prison) must be closed that that torture must end. However, the job of the Senate Intelligence Committee chairperson should be to provide legislative oversight and to ensure that US intelligence assets are used in such a way that maxmizes the safety of the American people against foreign threats. Of course, the two goals are not mutually exclusive, but I hope that DiFi will keep her eye on the ball. Also, between "like it or not", the sex scandal, and the easy targeting of "San Francisco Values", I just don't see how Gavin can run a successful gubernatorial campagin.

Great. Did she not support protecting the telecoms' for their involvement in domestic spying? Is this really a position we want her in?
