SFist Needs More Sleep

Parties, pre-parties, post-parties, main events. Sheesh, this week is out of control. Frankly, we’re a little concerned that The Killers may be taking over this town. Before their cross bay shows (Oakland last night, SF tonight) what were they up to? We spotted them on Wednesday night at the Live 105 Pre-Party at Mezzanine checking out Audrye Sessions (locals!!), Chairlift, Cold War Kids, and Vampire Weekend.

Chairlift was the best surprise of the night—very danceable music (hey, Apple’s used their stuff). They were the perfect warm up for the pop over drive of Vampire weekend. Amid the electro-pop Chairlift has sweet female vocals and a sound that borders on psychedelic and folk. Also, you’ve got to love a band who doesn’t even force you to ask for more cow bell. Keep your fingers crossed for another Chairlift appearance here soon. If we all make it through this week.
