I took the train from Burlingame to Diridon to catch the Sharks game last night and felt lucky. I HAD EXTRA BEER MONEY! W00T!

well the article says "The gesture does not benefit monthly pass holders, who pay in advance." but if it any consolation your predictable earnings towards caltrain allow them to budget their year appropriately, thus ensuring the quality service you have come to know and love. in essence, thank you, philiph.

What about us monthly pass Caltrain riders? I was on a nominal 45-minute ride this morning that took over 2 hours. Will Caltrain send roses and an apology note to my house since I don't get a free ride? All in all however, Caltrain does a pretty good job. I think ultimately the train ride is more predictable than driving. It's just that when train problems occur they affect many more people at once and are much more visible. So in general, Keep it Up, Caltrain.
