I&apos;d say a good 150+ people showed up. But the folks organizing it mentioned they had about 2,000 lights for the evening&apos;s project.  Very cool.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;This is a great idea from SFBC, but doesn&apos;t it make sense to pass out bike lights before nightfall? So, a rider like me will have to ride in darkness to get a bike light and hope I don&apos;t get struck by a car before then.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
