It's Official: We're in a Recession

A "panel of key analysts" claim that the U.S. in officially in a recession. But you knew that already. The DOW is down 436 points today and (let's face it) things are going to get worse before they get better. Bush said he'd be willing to support more federal intervention to help out rich folk forced to fly coach due to the tanking economy. "I'm sorry it's happening," said the President. Yeah. Thanks. Anyway, from Orpah's mind-numbingly disappointing DIY episode of her annual favorite things episode (a gratitude box, Oprah?) to Ellis Brooks Motors calling it quits, the entire nation is feeling the painful pinch. See you in the bread line.

I saw the ghost of Ellis Brooks floating over the old Trader Vic's and he was holding a bag of Mother's Cookies. True story.

do people still buy marijuana?

That's 679 points down on the close.

Wait for the 1000+ panic drop within the next few days. DJIA 5000 is the true bottom.

And btw, we're not only in a Recession, we're nosing into a second Depression.

sfbike im sure they do. maybe it will even become the currency when the system collapses!
