I knew this guy, we were classmates and although I didn't know him well (and disagreed with his politics) I can tell you that he was an incredibly smart, dedicated, lively and involved person who will be sorely missed. He was prominent in his community, a trusted physician and was a true citizen of the world. R.I.P. Dan.

house of shields is at 39 not 55. This building is an office building which holds lots of small businesses and random offices, in different suites: http://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1GGLS_enUS291&aq=f&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q="55+new+montgomery" I've been there before for a class at Pacific Arabic Resources (which is btw a great place to learn arabic).

Your geography is a mess. The Academy of Art University building is on the other side of Jesse from Crunch, where your map pin is (79 NM). Unless they have an elevator that crosses the street, you are way off base by lumping the two together.

Confirming mdeloura's comment. Crunch does not use/have access to the elevator in question, with the exception of some staff, though I have never seen them use it. It is an office building.

Technically it isn't the Crunch elevator, it's the elevator of the Sharon building at 55 New Montgomery. There have been police and the medical examiner in the lobby most of the day; looks like they are finishing up now. Thanks for the post, no one here knew what was going on, just that one of the elevators was shut down...

I really think it was across the alley from Crunch at the Acadamy of Art. That's where the ambulance was parked. (Medical examiner was down the street towards market)
