<description>&lt;p&gt;Um Maverick surfers aren&apos;t pussies. 
You ban Jet Skis, you ban Mavericks on big days.

Almost everyone paddles out to Maverick&apos;s on their own but the jet skis stand by for rescue. On big days its just too dangerous to surf there without some way to get people out of the way of that mountain of water. The violence of the waves &amp; whitewater there are much harder on the sea life than a jet ski or 2.
