Here they come. Oh, and "Keep it peaceful" signs are being taped up everywhere, we're told. So, you know, please keep it that way.

for the record, i'm calling this one the "oh no on 8" rally. :)

I work at the Civic Center crackhead fountain. There was a large crowd gathered around 6:00, I would give it a total layman's estimate of a couple thousand, then they marched away. Lots of helicopters in the sky now.

You know, for all I said earlier about the need to protest in places OTHER than already-friendly gay ghettos, I'm at the protest now and it's still beautiful. We need to march *elsewhere*, but the march here is still wonderful.

I'm glad I live in the beautiful place that is the Castro.

There’s a great video I saw on San Francisco IAM on Proposition 8. It shows both sides of the issue and what it means for same sex couples in California. It’s a must see for those concerned about the issue.
