It was announced this morning that the Presidio Trust Board of Directors meeting -- one that would possibly jump star efforts to get the long-planned Fisher museum going, with its billion dollars worth of art -- has been posted from November 13 to December 9. (To check out just what the Presidio Trust has in store for the area, go here). So, you all have a over a month now to freak out about what's going on in your backyard. (SFCitizen)

The Fishers are basically giving 9 figures worth of art plus financing the removal of an ugly parking lot.

The alternative nimby proposal is a six figure history museum that's not financed.

Tough choice.

Aren't they also tearing down the Presidio bowling alley with the Fisher proposal and building a mall-esque area?

The bowling alley and tennis court might not be long for this world.

Well there's the Metreon area bowling thing and Pacifica available.

Not sure the bowling biz is viable at that location.
