Incumbents Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi (District 5), Carmen Chu (D4), and Sean Elsbernd (D7) all managed to hold onto their seats on the board of supervisors. They're safe.
In District 1, Eric Mar leads at 42.4% this morning (followed by Sue Lee and Alicia Wang trailing at second and third, respectively), primed to swipe Supervisor Jake McGoldrick's spot.
Filling Aaron Peskin's gap in District 3 is David Chiu leading with 39%. Joseph Alioto, Jr. at 23.4% and Denise McCarthy at 12.7% are falling behind.
In District 9, preliminary results have David Campos in the lead with 35.5% of the vote as of this morning. And since he won SFist's poll, we're going to call it: Campos wins it.
And Supervisor Gerardo Sandoval District 11 spot? Still undecided. John Avalos is at 30.1%, with Ahsha Safai at 24.5% and Myrna Lim at 16.5%. (CBS 5)

How long until instant run-off will be done? I keep wondering about District 1's results.
District 11 will be an interesting one ... all sorts of variables.
