I LOVE seeing these lines; so often I have gone to polling locations and they might as well have tumbleweeds. While the waiting stinks, I am glad people are exercising their rights this year.

If you are in line at 8pm, you can vote. don't give up, vote. even if they call the presidential race, we need a good mandate. and there are very important issues on the ballot

people are already having issues at polls in sf. there have been reports of broken tally machines in the castro. precincts in the mission running out of ballot. DON'T LEAVE your polling place without being sure that you've voted. if there are issues get on your cell and call the sf board of elections.: 415.554.4375 (press 0. the wait will only be a few mins).
