Film du Jour: "No, you're a pain in the ass"

Save for clips of kitties barfing or drunk women getting tasered, nothing can pull focus from today's election day frenzy.

But the above clip comes close. Featuring a heated tête-à-tête between a cop and Oakland Tribune journalist Jane Tyska, it's all very First Amendment-Josh Wolf-Valencia Street-humus vs.donuts-¡Viva La Revolución!-omg, my rights are being violated-or whatever. If you want to read more about what went down, Phil Bronstein covers it gracefully and humorously, and you can read all about it here.

Enjoy.

Officer Michel, please report to the Personnel Division ...

I hear he's mellowed out a lot since he came out of the closet.

Geez, what an a-hole. If nobody has yet pissed in his Cheerios, please, allow me to lift a leg.

Someone seriously needs to take up yoga before he suffers a heart attack.

he'll just get accelerated retirement anyway

Glad I don't pay property tax in Oakland, that fuck's gonna be on paid administration for months. Typical cop though, your tiny female elbow hit my steel reinforced car. Then he just keeps adding stuff, "You're inciting a riot! You killed Kennedy!"

The officer is actually the chief of the small police force owned and operated by the Oakland school district.

He's a fucking security guard.
