Gavin Campaigning Where it Matters Most

The Mayor decided to rally for Obama and against Prop 8 in the bastion of left leaning voters-- a college campus. We're not entirely sure why he chose the Stanford Democrat rally to spend the last noon time hour before the elections, but maybe he managed to get a few undergrads to switch from Nader to Obama? Seriously, what 20-year-old could say NO to that hair?!

He's hoping to get smartified by proximity.

In all fairness, it's hard to say who would be swayed by a Gavin Newsom handshake vis-a-vis this particular issue. Best he can do is try and recruit some talent for his next run.

that's probably the best place to be campaigning today. Now it's not about changing minds, it's about making sure everyone who agrees with you gets out and votes...

Stanford students are 110% his demographic. Rich and shallow.

Given the Gav's role in the Yes On 8 campaign he has smartly been laying low. He's out of commission for the cycle, so why not hang out with the most friendliest of friendlies? Plus, I don't know if you've noticed but he's also kind of a dick.
