A 19-Polk bus I was riding earlier today (around 4 or 5 pm) was showing a time of 6:00 a.m. on the overhead information at the front of the bus. (shrug)

I think NextBus generally does a pretty good job; I won't begrudge them this. I guess I'm also a little confused as to how it would've fucked things up...did it just read "1 hr, 6 min" rather than 6 minutes?

Technically, it's Daylight Saving (singular, not plural) Time. Perhaps that's what caused NextBus to fail.

NextBus is a crapfactory swathed in secrecy and MUNI union contracts. It comes as no surprise that they can't handle the most basic of computerisms. And it's "hornswoggled."
