Not exactly a quote, and more an excerpt from one of these black explanatory screens with text, since the classic 1925 movie is silent, and shown with live organ accompaniment tonight at Davies Symphony Hall.

Davies has the best organ, with 9,000 pipes, the largest one in a concert hall in North America, and gosh, that movie is spooky for real. His nose! There is no nose!
