oh and as for BRT remember...we ripped out the train tracks out there because BART was allegedly going to be built out there (Can you imagine the mayhem if that had to be dug up?) the 38 was a temporary "Stop gap" measure. 50 years later and it's still with us. Typical MUNI/BART/SF NIMBY FAIL

eric mar definitely represents me. i don't know what you're talking about Rincon. and who, may i ask, do you suppose sue lee is going to represent if she gets elected? just look at her record on the planning commission. it's all you need to know. she did many, many favors for developers and corporate landlords. they're showing their thanks with huge contributions to her campaign and by financing slanderous independent expenditure mail pieces against eric mar. she will obviously do their bidding in city hall if she is elected. god help san francisco if that should happen.

Eric Mar is pro-ignore his constituents ... that's outweighed by him being pro-BRT? Isn't BRT already baked into the plans, more or less, for Geary? You want to elect a guy who called emergency meetings to hold votes when he knew his other School Board members were out of town - that's kinda Karl Rove-ish/Dick Cheney-ish if you ask me. These are some sorry SOBs on the SFBG slate ... all idealogues who ignore their constituents.

I'm a D1 renter who was just notified my rent is going up $400 come December. Sue Lee's financial backers are the last people I feel like empowering just about now. My roomies and I always wondered who was paying for her massive campaign... now we know. I'm glad to see Eric Mar is pro-BRT as well.

I dread the 38-Limited these days. BRT is nice, but a long ways away. At least the TEP (I call the toilet project) will at least add more buses and extend the limited service hours while this BRT thing is worked out. Pleeeese... Sunday limited service.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with JROTC in the schools and will actually be voting yes on the non-binding measure and for those school board members who would vote to bring it back. However, I will be voting for Eric Mar, not because he personally gave me a flyer at the bus stop one day, but because he is pro-BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) as am I. Lee and Wang are not, Wang even less so. The main howlings one hears against BRT have largely come from business owners in the district (a large number of whom do not live there), and I honestly think the Outer Richmond would get more business in the end because it'll be a lot easier to get out there quicker, not to mention back.

At least this beats those annoying elections signs posted on every single lightpole in this city. Eyesore while driving... ugh. If I could tag on Sue Lee's ad (because of my morals, I don't do that kind of crap), I'd take out the "LE" and put an "M" instead. Elect "Sue Me!" for supervisor.

Before anyone asks the Eric Mar campaign to disavow what some lonely wheat-paster slapped up in protest, folks ought to ask Sue Lee why her backers are lying about her endorsements. The same Democratic party that endorsed Barack Obama endorsed Eric Mar. Yet Sue Lee's big money backers, who paid for her billboards, are telling voters she has the Democratic endorsement. That's large scale fraud, not petty isolated vandalism. This tagger deserves a round of applause.

Yes BMart, We shouldbe scared, if we want to keep rent control. I'm not sure if people realize what's at stake in this election, but if Sue Lee, Joe Alioto, and Aasha Safari [sic] get elected, this town is going to become VERY unfriendly to regular people and VERY friendly to developers and coorporate landlords. These are folks who are giving them all their campaign donations and these are the people financing slanderous hit pieces against their opponents.

I sure as shit wouldn't vote for Eric Mar (or Mark Sanchez) who will continue the so-called progressives legacy of totally ignoring their constituents concerns in order to impose their ideology using their power (proven through their crusade to eliminate the JROTC program in San Francisco schools - an exemplary program that provides kids with self-confidence, leadership, and structure that they may not get at home - and, at worst, might seek out by joining gangs (hear that Mark "stop the violence Sanchez?). We need politicians who will get things done - and the basics at that, like a working transit system, roads that aren't full of dangerous pot holes, and so on ... The right wing Republicans and these so-called Progressives days of dividing Americans need to come to an end .... Barack Obama has the new message for us all, and that is that we can disagree but we still need to be good neighbors and work together to improve our quality of life. Vote 1st choice Sue Lee, 2nd choice Alicia Wang These are folks who promise to listen to constituents and do the work needed to navigate San Francisco through this difficult time.
