On probation for theft, Kimberly Ann Baker, 43, was arrested (again!) for stealing. This time she was pinched for swiping five copper inserts, a bronze vase, and a 12-foot copper drain pipe from graves at the Italian Cemetery in Colma. This isn't uncommon in the area since 70 percent is covered by 16 cemeteries, and said corpse storage facilities are "prime pickings for metal thieves, who steal vases, decorative plates, doors to mausoleums and anything else they can pry loose." Baker's victims had no comment. (SFGate)

Stupid thieves are going to make cemeteries close to the public. They are like free architectural museums. tiffany glass, incredible copper nouveau doors, statuary. I lost my great art treasures to meth.
