Photos: Milk Premiere at the Castro Theatre

Last night, Gus Van Sant's Milk finally shot its load all over the Castro. The premiere you weren't invited to saw the likes of Penn, Franco, Newsom, Siebel, and more cross the red carpet. We'll update this with more images as the come in to us. (Because we know you cannot get enough of this. You can't! You're voracious for Hollywood trash in your hood!) In the meantime, check out TheSword for more images.

(Also, a special thanks goes out to Janine Kahn and Tim Wagner for allowing SFist to use some of the Weekly's pics. Check out what they saw at last night's film gala, right here.)

Great call on the Levis. I saw her yesterday afternoon walking down Geary with Levis bags. At the very least she does do her own shopping.
Our first lady is not the most graceful in heels. She looked like a new born calf.

She also LOVES to mix her tweeds!

Wow, to think I missed seeing all those beautiful people in person! BTW, that's not just "a drag queen", it's the famous Donna Sashay. And Allison Pill plays Milk's campaign manager Anne Kronenberg, not Di Fi (that would be terrible casting; Ashlee Temple plays La Feinstein).

He should be hawking Levi's jeans. They just gave a good chunk o' change to No on 8, which Newsom has been campaigning for a great deal.
And yeah, their jeans are crap, and my super-unstylish pair fell apart very quickly, but yay Levi's anyway!

their jeans are crap?

aw, i love levi's!

"aw, i love levi's!"

Not as much as you love that insufferable Siebel creature and her bumblebees...

Ok, I concede that perhaps Levi's makes decent jeans for guys or in the $100+ price range. But their regular jeans for the ladies are, I repeat, craptastic.

JLeisure, I can't stop laughing. I'm totally going to use the newborn calf story in the future!!

Seibel needs to eat. She looks to gaunt in person and is making Gav look old before his time. I thought she was Mary Kate Olson in that pic.
LOSE THE LAME HAT !

"A gay ol' tyme was had by all!"

i love allison pill. she is such a good actress and picks amazing films and plays. i think she will be one of the next timeless actresses
