Newsom's Victory Garden to Thrive for an Additional Month

Gavin Newsom's ode to living a green, fit, probiotic-rich life received a two -eek extension before getting sprayed with the Roundup. According to Matier & Ross, the food garden/publicity stunt at City Hall will is now set to get pulled in December, instead of November. But? This will cost the city an additional $2,200 a week for security to "keep the kale fresh from the Civic Center's population of drunks and homeless," according to Curbed's Susie Cagle. Heh.
