There you people go again confusing price with value. If you buy a pair of $80 Sketchers you look like you're wearing shoes paid for by your medical insurance. So the value of them is effectively zero. If you commission a pair of Jeffery-West chain stitched Chukkas your friends' wives want to do the horse of hector with you in the bathroom at the Gymboree.

I got a 20% discount on the shoes I bought at the Sketchers grand opening last weekend. Does that mean I am now wearing "rank" shoes? Is that good or bad?
