Definitely a Freudian slip. There's no way he'd be in Pennsyltucky if he didn't need their votes (trust me, I'm from near there). I'm willing to bet McCain in fact does agree with the nebulous "Obama supporters" who he says have been bad-mouthing the region.

Yeah, he's a blithering idiot. But what really pisses me off, is what exactly has Obama said about West Virginia? My guess is nothing. The last person to mock that area would have been Cheney and his inbreeding jokes. But as funny as McCain's fuck ups are, the fact that he's blatantly lying, and insinuating that Obama is slandering any states at all (unlike Palin, who thinks people who get an education, understand the issues, and move to a big city, are somehow unamerican terrorist sympathizers), just really pisses me off.

So I really wanted him to be all wild and Mavericky. I wish he simply continued with -- " ... and I couldn't agree with them more, you people ae bitter, deluded scum!" That would have been rock - I would vote for him if he was that angry!
