As a matter of fact, yes, I have used a modern camping stove. Probably at least 30 times (I used to be outdoorsy). It's now in my closet, waiting patiently to be brought back into action by the impending earthquake. And I have never set a fire using it.

Considering how many smokers I see throw their lit butts around with abandon, I can only say I am shocked, shocked to learn inconsiderate humans are to blame for a fire.
