Vandalism Report Card: Them Rich Folk Graffiti

gavin%20graffiti.jpg
According to Lulu Vision, who snapped the shot above, "someone in a very upscale neighborhood
here in San Francisco, decided to put blame for these pot holes where it belongs." (We suspect Mayor Newsom isn't personally responsible for this crack. This is just a cry for help for him to fix it. Or whatever.)

Anyway, this is what it looks like when the wealthy/elite are armed with spray paint and an overabundance of self-entitlement. Meh.

These are all over pac heights. I bet this is Broderick at Washington.

Looks like the work of a bicyclist with some attitude. Have your rim bent more than once or a flat tire by this stuff and even the most docile can get enraged. Generally I don't side with cyclists with attitude but this one seems to actually have a point--at least one which I can empathize.

this is shoddy work. perhaps a few lessons from their artist spawn in the mission would produce more stylish results.

Where is the "self-entitlement?" Is that like the "doin' stuff I don't do is elitist" anti-intellectual claptrap we hear from the likes of Sarah Palin?

as an unpaid lobbyist for the elite aesthetic and lifestyle, quite the opposite.

I guess I'll just take it you were being ironical. Kudos!

I think the idea is that SF has better things to do with its dwindling revenue than fix tiny potholes like this in Pacific Heights.

I guess that I just think it's a good enough idea to spread citywide. Would have been better a year ago, but whatev'.

"Anyway, this is what it looks like when the wealthy/elite are armed with spray paint and an overabundance of self-entitlement. Meh."

This would make a great tourist slogan for the Mission.

Gavin really does need to fix the CRACK problem in Pac Heights.
