<description>&lt;p&gt;It sure puts things in perspective given fleet week. California hasn&apos;t existed for a very long period of time, and a significant portion was under Spanish and Mexican rule. I wonder if the US rule will also be a part of history at some point.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
