This store is on the location of the former California Cable Car barn.
Grocery prices in the area already suck, can't imagine how much higher they are going to go once Cala closes.
That grocery store is a fine example of Mid-20th century Modernist supermarket design. Tearing it down would be a travesty. Quick, someone go get an injunction!
