FILM: DIY (Do-it-yourself) art types -- who live in world of skateboarding, surfing, punk, hip hop, graffiti, etc. -- get the documentary treatment in Beautiful Losers (2008). A few of the artists interviewed, ones who "inadvertently affected the art world," are Thomas Campbell, Cheryl Dunn, Shepard Fairey, Harmony Korine, Geoff McFetridge, Barry McGee, Margaret Kilgallen, Mike Mills, Steven "Espo" Powers, Aaron Rose, Ed Templeton and Deanna Templeton.
