Yeah, I never got those. But hey I'm 6'4". Went into the Birkenstock store with my wife to get her Birks repaired and the counter girl had custom stilt Birks. I did my little "I love San Francisco" dance. It's a lot like the Cabbage Patch. She joined in. Wait... what were we talking about?

I just thought she wears them to get onto the muni buses that stop 5 feet from teh curb & won't lower the bus for people to step up into the bus!
