No Total Recall, Say Californians

While people have little confidence in Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, at least according to recent polls, few of us want to recall him. (If you remember, the powerful California Correctional Peace Officers Association union spearheaded a recall effort in August.) According to a Field Poll, 69 percent of California voters oppose getting rid of the governor. So, there you go. (CBS 5)

Get that Hummer driving jock out of office.

anyone that wants him out of office is fucking moron.

get a clue!

He's an actor, not a politician.

get a clue sucka!

i think he is the best governor california has ever had.

I'm not a fan of the guy, but considering that it's the prison guard lobby trying to get rid of him because he's not being as nice to them as former governors were tells me it's just a bunch of sour grapes on their part.

Anytime you have a non-dogmantic *anything* is a good thing in American politics.

My biggest disappointment with McCain: He turned anti-choice in 6-7 years with absolutely NO explanation.

I figured since it was the prison guard union pushing it then they were just using it as leverage to try to make the governor have more people arrested and locked up.

"Anytime you have a non-dogmantic *anything* is a good thing in American politics.

Which is exactly why his "no taxes or else" death march has been such a disaster. This poll is misleading... how many people supported the recall of Davis when Darrell Issa was out there with his clipboard (or rather, paying people with clipboards to create an opportunity for himself to run)

Once it's on the ballot, people will support it

The last recall is the reason I no longer sign petitions and would like to repeal the entire initiative process. It's just plain lame.

Totally... thinking is too hard, which is why I never do it anymore :-/
