Scene from a Hells Angels Memorial Hog Ride

hog%20ride.jpg

Yes, Jeremy Hatch, we got our wish.

After Mark "Papa" Guardado's funeral ended, a ride from Daly City to the streets of San Francisco, going from the top of Market Street to the Ferry Building, honored the slain Hells Angels leader.

And we missed it! (The siren song that is Katz Bagels pulled us in. Alas.) Fortunately, Flickr user and SFist reader tingley snapped this shot of today's post-funeral hog ride in progress, heading up 280. (280, right?) San Jose Avenue.

We see no one riding bitch. This saddens us.

Anyway, if you have footage or images of today's ride, be sure to tag them with "sfist" so we can steal it.

Actually, this is on San Jose Ave through the Bernal Cut. The 280 on-ramp is about a quarter-mile ahead.

Also, rather oddly, they were riding south when the photo was taken (about 12:30pm). So apparently they were just cruising the city or else showing up very late to the funeral.

more pics please! I saw them near the ferry building and it did take as long as everyone is suggesting for them to pass. It was pretty damn cool.

SB San Jose Avenue near Tingley (hence the flickr user's sn).

Ha,
-full face helmets
- at least 1 BMW
- several japanese bikes

kind of funny that such a big deal was made of the notorious Hells Angels coming to town.

They'll all go home to their lawyer/doctor/accountant jobs tomorrow.

Wish I'd been out to see them ride though.

and not a Harley in the entire photo...

: (

I think this was the Hecks Angels on their weekly cruise through Redwood City.

Maybe I'm being fooled, but I think I see at least 5 Harleys in that photo.

Helicopters (presumably news and cops) over the 280 and The Sunnyside scared the beegeezus out of some folks at home here today...
We never get a presence like that when armed robbers are stabbing & kidnapping a store owner in Glen Park ....
'tingley''s sn, and street name make me flutter . . .

Actually, Tingley is my last name. It's just random coincidence that I live about a quarter-mile from Tingley St. The photo was taken off the Miguel/Richland overpass, which is a little farther north.

I do have a few other photos that I didn't put up, since they pretty much all look the same to me. If people are seriously interested in counting Harleys, I'll put them up.

Too bad it wasn't the Hell's Satans, those guys are bad ass
