On Sunday the 49ers battled into overtime up there in Seattle to win a wacky-tacular game over the reigning kings of the NFC West. That was pretty awesome.
Also on Sunday, the Raiders took time out from infighting to rumble past the disorganized Chiefs. That was unexpected, and kinda nice.
Also on Sunday, the SF Giants went into extra innings to trot out of San Diego with a win. OK, that's cool too.
Also on Sunday, the A's outmuscled the Rangers at the Coliseum. And that means... I... what-the... OH SHI-
How? How is this possible?! It must be a sign... a dire portent! What is this ill wind that flows the grasping-handed fog through St. Francis' golden gate?!
Ahh, crap; it's The End Times.

OK, so; actually the last time all four of the Bay Area franchises won together on a single day was September 9, 2001:
49ers vs Falcons; Raiders at Kansas City again; Giants at Rockies; A's vs Tampa Bay

We just had Hurricane Ike come through and hurt a lot of people's lives. You could work on that.
OK, good. Thanks.
There'll still be plenty of football, baseball, and jokes to be made about both of 'em another day. Do some good, it'll make you feel good. Especially in these times.

Hey, so, what counts as earthquake weather?
Lived here all my life and it seems like everyone's got their own recipe for it...
Earthquake weather: warmer than average temperature, less wind. In short, a gorgeous day.
Geologists, those party poopers, say there's no connection though.
"Earthquake weather" is as precise as the route to Mornington Crescent.
My Team is 4-0 its been 16 years since the buffalo franchise started like this. I am off to go buy my lottery ticket cause it must be my lucky day.
