Telegraph Hill Freefall

Chalk this up to one of those "folks from all over the Bay Area who happen to be in San Francisco doing things that they shouldn't be doing." Early this morning, a man attempting to steal a car plunged to his death after he leaped over a wall on San Francisco's Telegraph Hill while trying to evade SFPD officers. The accident happened on Alta Street near Montgomery Street, east of Coit Tower. The unidentified man, it seems, fell a non-death-defying 200-feet. Oops. (SFGate)
