Should tragedy ever befall the guy who's behind the manufacturing of these dollars, for instance, if his wife was brutally murdered at home while he was away, I think we should make silver-plate Liberian dollars with an etching of his house on the front, and have the date his wife was killed occupying the the spots where you see 9 and 11 on the advertised bill. Then we should run up to him, wave it in his face and exclaim, "This note dwarfs all others in U.S. circulation!"

Just wish they would not refer to it as 9/11 Just imagine how people with Birthdays or anniversaries feel today. Today is the daughter's birthday for one of our co workers - and there is such a gloom hanging over the celebration. She has become ashamed of being born on this day

It's LIBERIAN dollars, people. One Liberian dollar equals a little more that one-and-a-half CENTS in real American dollars. $20 Liberian = about 32 cents US

That thing is one of the lamest late night TV ads i've seen in a while. It's not even real silver- it's silver PLATE. Still it's better than that weird coin with the removable towers that you can plug in to the coin and make into a little statue.

Forget what? No, really. This thing is tacky. But it does dwarf the measly $20. And it only costs $20!!! The number that the mismatched (never before) 9 and 11 (for 9/11!!) add up to! OMG! We should use it to print our own money, like as a stamp.

I'm a bit on the fence here with the "Let's show you what you saw on sept. 11th - on sept. 11th '08! OMG!" I get the whole commemorative thing, but doesn't it seem a little, ya know, exploitative? Am, am I being a hippy?

It absolutely turns my stomach when I see crap like that. Please go straight to hell for making a profit out of tragedy with your mawkish tat. On September the 10th most of the country thought that New York was full of fags, jews and spics and should just sail off into the Atlantic. By September 11th it was every hillbilly's personal tragedy.
