OMG... you're supporting JROTC? I simply cannot imagine that a kid would choose to join that over a gang. If you're going to join a gang I don't think that military prep is really what you're looking for. Glad we got it out the schools.

Oh .... and thanks again to School Board members and Superivsor candidates Mark Sanchez and Eric Mar for spending so much time to eliminate the JROTC from our schools .... one of the few alternatives to joining a gang where kids could find structure, acceptance, and be given a level of responsibility along with respect as a member of the group. Nice goin'

Yeah Fong's doing a great job as I had to step past 7 young gang memebers planning the days "sales" and bad mouthing other gangs this A.M. on my own stoop. How about we start making sure these lil criminals are in SCHOOL? How hard is it to drive around and haul them back to class?
