We were passing by John O'Connell High School in the Mission yesterday afternoon when we came across this delightful situation. Well, how do you celebrate Labor Day?
By working?
By lamenting the return of the Burners.
God, this comment server just sucks.
Having a bottle of champagne at Les Deux Magots
pitchers of maragaritas and the charred flesh of animals slain in anger.
Oh, and corn on the cob.
Because this is AMUR'ka, BABY!
By watching those crazy Aztecs across the street from my house.
FYI. This Sunday celebration had nothing to do with Labor Day--but it looks like you're only interested in the photo op and not the larger significance--otherwise you would have asked someone there.
I'm pretty sure it's for Labor Day. I haven't heard any other theories.
i think it's a rain dance.
As one of the dancers, I am confirming that it was not for Labor Day, it was for Nuestra Senora de los Remedios. --lili
That sounds like it might be something Catholic? There's a number of churches with that name, but none that I can find near SF.
another day, another dumb mattymatt post.
