All those trees in the photo's background are currently big green and leafy at the Civic Center since it's summer and all. While this pic might have been uploaded to Flickr today, I dont' think it was taken today.

What about homeboy on the far right in the knit cap and sweater? I can't quite tell but it looks like hes twisted his scraggly beard into some kind of neck-dreadlock.

Angry sister? I thought the stereotype would just be her dreadlocklets. Knit cap on the right could be a Food Not Bombs'er, but this image by no means captures all genres of protestor. Mid-20s hasbian, for one.

@joel: The protesters re Viet Nam had more of a stake in the war. Let a draft start and I guarantee you'll see an explosion of protests. Nothing gets asses out of seats like the possibility of getting those asses shot off.

Hmmm, I see scowls, knit-caps, bearded guys with glasses, questionable facial hair in general, posters with bad handwriting, what else am I missing here. Anyway, it always surprises me that we've seen almost the reverse of what we had in Vietnam: the longer it went on and more of a clusterfuck Iraq became, the fewer the number and smaller the size of protests. Shameful, really.
