Missing Person Alert

This just showed up in Muni's troublefeed -- keep your eyes peeled, please:

SFPD has asked for assistance in locating a missing person.

As of 8:30 a.m., this morning, Thursday, August 28, 2008, a 79-year old woman went missing from the 1500 block of Broadway.

Her name is Rita Kushnir.

Ms. Kushnir speaks only limited Russian due to a prior stroke. She suffers from Alzheimers, has dementia, is diabetic and walks with a limp.

Notify the SFPD missing persons unit at 415.558.5508.

Nights and weekends notify the operations center at 415.553.1071.

She was last seen wearing white hat, blue sweatshirt and green pants. She is 5’3”, 220 lbs, has red hair, and green eyes.

Ms. Kushnir has been a frequent Muni customer and may be traveling on the transit system.
