Recently having read a report on his ilk: it was stated Pedophiles are not intellectually developed beyond their intellectual levels at puberty (or younger) so are stuck associating their sexuality with those of the age level of their intellectual development ..... then there are those who were themselves abused that are part of the Pedophile continuum. Victims of any type of abuse can make a choice: to never be like those who hurt them or . . .considering the era in which he was raised, if he was himself abused as a child, the general mindset of the era "it was the child's fault not the perpetrator's. We're dealing with a massive segment of our population raised under that meme.

Feel for his family, glad there some consequences for his behavior. Hope he gets the psych help he needs and some how is able to redeem himself in the years to come.
