Mission District Muni Bus Crash Lands Passenger in the Hospital

Speaking of Muni-related brilliance, after a 27-Bryant smashed into another vehicle at 23rd and Bryant streets, one passenger was sent to the hospital with "unknown" injuries. The accident happened just a little before 9 a.m. (Anyone see it?) Oh, and the driver of said 27-Bryant will be given a drug test and be "placed on non-driving status" as the powers that be investigate the cause of the crash. (CBS 5)

And remember, "It was our privilege to be the mode of choice."

oh wow. i totally didnt see it but saw the aftermath (aka really pissed off people waiting to get onto the 12 folsom at around 9:30am)

hmm wonder if there were 2 accidents yesterday - as the accident I saw was right outside my window (bryant/23rd). A Lexus hit the bus so hard the front bumper fell off. Of course, the Chronicle, once again effed up the facts, listed that the accident occurred at Mission /23rd. Duh, the 27-Bryant doesn't go down Mission.

So you are saying the Lexus hit the bus? Meaning this is likely the fault of the Lexus? Also, according to the article, administrative duty and drug tests are standard practice for a driver involved in an accident.
