Interview Redux: Two Gallants

So you're heading to Berkeley to see Two Gallants tonight. You'll probably love them. We caught them at a party last night, and man, they really are good. The nicely fill a current hole in the fabric of rock (yes, we did just make that metaphor up, and we are going to stick with it). We are of the opinion you can never give enough love to local acts-- make sure to check them out at Outside Lands on Saturday. Below is an interview we first ran with them back in October of '06. Two Gallants will Headline Presidio Stage at Outside Lands Music Festival in Golden Gate Park on Saturday, August 23. Their set time is 6:05 – 6:45.
You gotta love home-grown awesomeness. SFist interviews a lot of people who are just passing through this city—in fact most everyone here comes from some where else. Not today. Today we’ve got two SF natives, who are making a name for themselves both here and afar. As Two Gallants Tyson Vogel and Adam Stephens have gained a little notoriety of late, but we think you’ll agree they should be known for their music.
Although tickets might be scarce, try your darndest to get to the show. Hey, you’ve gotta love any band that wants to set themselves up with the Mayor, apparently constantly prowls the Mission, and have been here pretty much longer than any of the rest of us.
