This is painful to say because right now M. Ward is my most favorite band. However, I thought his performance at OL stunk! He played the "Post War" like it was a CD. He played each song in order of the CD. How is that fun for the audience? Plus he didn't play anything from his previous album other than . I get it when artists want to play a lot from their newest release hoping to generate sales of their cd, but "post war" is two years old. Get over it. Play some of the stuff from your previous album. On top of all that, this band sucked. They were off on timing and general musicianship.

Overall a very disappointing performance. I expected better. Maybe that happens with hero worship.
