Of course, they had to be fellow Georgians...(sigh.) My Papaw (Southern for "Grandfather") once swore he saw a camel in the middle of Highway 41, but turns out it was a brown carpet. And he'd been drinking for several days. So, you know, don't be surprised if "bigfoot" is just some hairy kid they ran into during a 72 hour meth binge.
