FoodBuzz gets a top gobble worthy mention because it is highly addictive and total fun. "Fantastic foodies" may find some Bay Area fun on the site, but there are links to other parts of the country.

Crock pot, in this weather? Yes, yes, and yes.
There is a cute blog called A Year of CrockPotting with daily and sometimes unique reasons to use your trusty crock pot, including French toast, smoked brisket, and lasagna. Who knew? When it does warm up, we may need to try a ginlati. Perhaps "salty but spicy goodness" has more appeal? Off to Chez Us you go, then.
Becks & Posh has B.E.A.T the BLT in a most delish way. Local eggs and homemade mayo make all the difference, here-here! Or put yer eggs to good use with a fabbo breakfast casserole, which is a great way to easily use ingredients from your fridge. Meat, no meat; veggies or not; cheese, definitely. When life grants you a staycation, try a picnic.

I'd also nominate Digest This, http://digestthis.wordpress.com/
I nominate Canary Girl and La Tartine Gourmande.
Now I'm hungry.
Love the nominations, Oznog & Reechard. I will check them out for the next round up. Thanks, and keep em coming.
My crockpot is sitting dirty right now from using it last night to make ham hocks.
