I don't think Obama's helmet is the problem. America's addiction to denim is troubling enough, but to see it demonstrated so ably by one of our top politicians just makes me sad.

ever see those people riding down Market on half inflated bike tires, going really slow (because they're half inflated)? I'm one of THOSE people who chase them down and tackle them and whip out the protable pump and start pumping the tires until they feel EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN PEBBLE in the road! at first they are freaked, but after I send them on their way, I've noticed a few smiles here and there, after they've gotten a good 50 feet away from me
