MUSIC: The "heart-melting" Watson Twins (minus Jenny Lewis) headline a night a pretty ditties over on Potrero Hill. Tim Fite and Okay on Monday open for the two

9 p.m. // Bottom of the Hill (1233 - 17th Street) // $10

FILM: Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired screens in the Mission tonight. This documentary turns its lens on the (in)famous director of Chinatown and Rosemary's Baby, dipping into his marriage with Manson Family murder victim Sharon Tate, interviewing his (alleged?) rape victim, and revealing his self-imposed exile to Paris. Good stuff for any Polanski fans.

7 p.m. & 9 p.m. // Roxie Theater (3117 - 16th Street) // $9

Roman Polanski loves your choice of accompanying photograph.

No Age at Great American Music Hall tonight!

And The Hold Steady at Mezzanine tomorrow!

And Thao with the Get Down Stay Down Thursday at the Independent.

And various other things too, plus all the great shows last weekend (Hercules & Love Affair, Harvey Milk, Booka Shade)... it's been a great week for music, for me at least.
