Daly City Man Accused of Raping SF Sex Workers

Israel Mendez, 29, was arrested last Monday for raping prostitutes who work Mission District blocks. The first incident was on June 29 at 19th and Shotwell streets, the second on July 6 at Mariposa and 17th. From those locations, Mendez would pick up the women, drive them to an "industrial area," beat, and then rape them. The pig has been charged with kidnapping to commit rape, false imprisonment, and other assorted sexual assault crimes. (SF Crime, via CBS 5)

"The pig"? And if he's innocent? Easy on the guillotine there, Robespierre.

i meant that as in "all men are pigs."

There was a prostitute in a Southern State (can't recall off the top of my head which) who pressed charges against two men for raping her. Although their was significant evidence to find the men guilty, the judge did not charge them with rape.

After the trial, the (female) judge made a statement as to why she did not find the men guilty. She stated that because the woman was admittedly a prostitute, she considered the crime a "theft of services".

...just sayin.

19th and Shotwell? What, 20th and Capp was already booked? oy...

...she considered the crime a "theft of services".

What if I were to cut up a butcher? Is that unfair competition?

"drive them to an "industrial area," beat, and then rape them"... in other words he was their pimp...

@xenu

Ahhhh, no. Depending on your definition of "cut-up" and the condition of the butcher after you slice-and-dice...that would be more along the lines of murder/attempted murder.
